"Electoral party" means in all selections a political party, a political movement, or a coalition thereof, which nominated a senator candidate or information that the candidate is independent. Information on which political party, movement, or coalition nominated the candidate and on his/her party membership (or independence) refers to the status as at the election date(s) of the elections, in which the senator was elected. The information is updated to status valid as at the date(s) of elections currently taking place, according to materials available on the website of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. For technical reasons, the names of political parties, political movements, and coalitions are abbreviated in some overviews. Before 2000, the percentage of valid votes for a candidate was rounded off to two decimal places. Since 2000, the figure has been given to two decimal places not rounded off.
