KEY AND RESEARCH STAFF PROGRAMME

The Programme is not territorially limited and applies to employees from all the third countries. In case of application for visa for a stay of over 90 days for business purpose and employe card apllication is set a quota by the government regulation for selected countries.

 The Programme is intended for:

• intra-corporate transferred employees  occupying the positions of managers, specialists or statutory bodies and newly hired employees occupying the positions classified according to the updated CZ-ISCO Classification of Occupations into the main classes 1 – 3, in manufacturing industry, services or the public sector (with exception of medical professions which are covered by the Highly Qualified Worker Programme);
• the employers which are investors, research organizations, technological companies, newly established companies and start-ups.

The employees admitted to the Programme are granted:

• an opportunity to submit their visa application at the Representative Office of the Czech Republic abroad. The same opportunity is given to their closest family members;
• simplification of administrative procedures connected with submission of their visa application;
• processing their visa application form within 30 days from its submission.

Applications for admission to the Programme are assessed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Business and Investment Support Agency - CzechInvest. The Ministry assess the applications for admission to the Programme submitted by investors. These applications need to be sent to the following e-mail address: klicovypersonal@mpo.cz. CzechInvest assess applications for admission to the Programme submitted by research organizations, technological companies, newly established companies and start-ups. These applications need to be sent to the following e-mail address: programklicovy@czechinvest.org.

There is no legal entitlement for the admission to the Programme.
